What Is Your Vision Of Your Business Growing For You
This is a story that we got from our friend, Laurie Allen. It is beautiful so we thought that we would share it with others. It is called:
The Daffodil Principle
Author Unknown
"Mother, you must come to see the daffodils before they are over." I wanted to go, but it was a two-hour drive from Laguna to Lake Arrowhead. "I will come next Tuesday", I promised a little reluctantly on her third call.
Next Tuesday dawned cold and rainy. Still I had promised, and reluctantly I drove there. When I finally walked into Carolyn's house I was welcomed by the joyful sounds of happy children. I delightedly hugged and greeted my grandchildren.
"Forget the daffodils, Carolyn! The road is invisible in these clouds and fog, and there is nothing in the world except you and these children that I want to see badly enough to drive another inch!
My daughter smiled calmly and said, "We drive in this all the time, Mother." " Well, you won't get me back on the road until it clears, and then I'm heading for home!" I assured her.
"But first we're going to see the daffodils. It's just a few blocks," Carolyn said. "I'll drive. I'm used to this."
"Carolyn, "I said sternly, "Please turn around."
"It's all right, Mother, I promise. You will never forgive yourself if you miss this experience."
After about twenty minutes, we turned onto a small gravel road and I saw a small church. On the far side of the church, I saw a hand lettered sign with an arrow that read, "Daffodil Garden."
We got out of the car, each took a child's hand, and I followed Carolyn down the path then, as we turned a corner, I looked up and gasped. Before me lay the most glorious sight. It looked as though someone had taken a vat of gold and poured it over the mountain peak and its surrounding slopes. The flowers were planted in majestic, swirling patterns, great ribbons and swaths of deep orange, creamy white, lemon yellow, salmon pink, and saffron and butter yellow. Each different colored variety was planted in large groups so that it swirled and flowered like its own river with its own unique hue. There were five acres of flowers.
"Who did this?" I asked Carolyn, "Just one woman," Carolyn answered. "She lives on the property. That's her home."
Carolyn pointed to a well-kept A-frame house, small and modestly sitting in the midst of all that glory. We walked up to the house.
ON the patio, we saw a poster. "Answers To The Questions I Know That You Are Asking," was the headline. The first answer was a simple one. "50,000 bulbs," it read. The second answer was, "One at a time, by one woman. Two hands, two feet, and one brain." The third was, " Began in 1958."
For me, that moment was a life changing experience. I thought of this woman whom I had never met, who, more than forty years before, had begun, one bulb at a time, to bring her vision of beauty and joy to an obscure mountaintop. Planting one bulb at a time, year after year, this unknown woman had forever changed the world in which she lived. One day at a time, she had Created something of extraordinary magnificence, beauty and inspiration. The principle her daffodil garden taught is one of the greatest principles of celebration.
That is, Learning to move toward our goals and desires one step at a time-often just one baby step at a time-and learning to love the doing, learning to use the accumulation of time. When we multiply tiny pieces of time with small increments of daily effort, we too will find we can accomplish magnificent things. We can change the world.
"It makes me sad in a way," I admitted to Carolyn. "What might I have accomplished if I had thought of a wonderful goal thirty-five or forty years ago and had worked away at it 'one bulb at a time' through all those years? Just think what I might have been able to achieve!"
My daughter summed up the message of the day in her usual direct way. "Start tomorrow," she said.
She was right. It's so pointless to think of the lost hours of yesterdays. The way to make learning a lesson of celebration instead of a cause for regret is to only ask, "How can I put this to use today?"
Use the Daffodil Principle. Stop waiting...
Until your car or home is paid off
Until you get a new car or home
Until your kids leave the house
Until you go back to school
Until you finish school
Until you clean the house
Until you organize the garage
Until you clean off your desk
Until you lose 10 lbs.
Until you gain 10 lbs.
Until you get married
Until you get a divorce
Until you have kids
Until the kids go to school
Until you retire
Until summer
Until spring
Until winter
Until fall
Until you die...
There is no better time than right now to be happy. Happiness is a journey, not a destination. So work like you don't need money. Love like you've never been hurt, and dance like no one's watching.
If you want to brighten someone's day, pass this on to someone special. I just did.
Wishing you a beautiful, daffodil day!
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
One step at a time. You can grow your business. Build your product list. Build your customers or email list. What can you get done? What can you grow? What can you build?
What are your comments on what your can grow in your business?

Doing The Research For Business Ideas For Off Line And Online For The Entrepreneurs
Many individuals today prefer to have a home-based business rather than working eight hours each day in the office at a job. Some people are also into franchising; this may sound good but if you want to become a successful entrepreneur, you don't gave to focus entirely on franchising. Franchises are very expensive to get into for the up front costs. You should consider other business ideas that you you can venture into.
Research can be carried out with ease these days, thanks to the power of the internet. If you conduct your search online, you can find other business ideas that you can use as an entrepreneur. Beginners will benefit a lot from the information they can find online about business ideas. Make a list of all the ideas that you find that interest you. Take a close look at all of them. Ask these four questions:
1. How much competition is in the market for this business?
2. How big of a market is their for this business?
3. Is their potential for more products to be added to this business?
4. How much profit might their be to this business?
Because of the many business ideas you can find online, you will often find it hard to choose the ones you like. It's easy to choose if you use your instincts. For instance, if one business idea feels right, take note of it but if you have second thoughts about another idea, disregard it.
As an entrepreneur, you should investigate further by gathering as much information as possible about the business ideas. True enough, franchise is absolutely a great idea. By choosing this business alternative, you can be the boss of your own business and you can earn unlimited income. Do you have the start up cost? Can you get a loan for that much? If it is a brick and mortar business, where will it be located at?
An online business has less start up cost than the brick and mortar business does. It is something that can be done online at less overhead cost to you every month. With just as much possibility as a brick and mortar business.
However, according to experts, all three of these kinds of businesses promise the same business opportunities. It will all differ on how you handle the business.
Not all individuals who desire to own a business can achieve this goal. You see, being an entrepreneur is hard. There are a lot of factors to consider before you decide to become an entrepreneur.Even if you have the capital to finance the business undertaking, you can't be sure that it can give you high profits in the future especially if you don't know how to handle certain business situations.
First and foremost, you must be able to work alone. Once you're an entrepreneur, you're already self-employed. It would also be best if you can have the support of your loved ones.
Here is a very good example. As mentioned earlier, further investigation is needed to evaluate the business ideas that you have in your hands. Starting a business from scratch requires a lot of work. Suppose the business that you're about to put up is also available in franchise, which business idea will you choose? If it is a franchise the name is already known to people. That is a plus for you.
For the smart entrepreneurs, they will already go for franchising because it requires less work. An established business undertaking is less expensive and less risky. But before you make a final decision, you must be able to weigh all the advantages as well as disadvantages. This is an essential part of choosing the best business idea. Will it be online or a brick and mortar business? Franchise or not?
Once you have chosen the right business idea, you can spring into action. By doing a business plan. Getting a business license. Are you going to have people working for you or not? Soon enough, you will gain the financial benefits that you're dreaming of. Whether you choose to start your own business, go for franchising or doing your business online, the most important thing is to develop goodwill and trust. To have good customer service. It is less expensive to keep an existing customer than to advertise for new customers. So customer service is important to take care of problems that might come up.
You can get many resources through the internet or you can talk to an established entrepreneur so that you will have an idea on what you're about to undertake.
If you want to become an entrepreneur, you have done all the research on all the business ideas that you can do off line and online. You have made your choice and finished all that is needed to start your business. Also, don't forget to develop the needed traits and skills as an entrepreneur. Keep good records of you income and out go so that you can do taxes. Make sure that you are doing everything the law requires you to do. Get the right people to help you, accountant, lawyer, advertising agency and other professionals that a business needs.
Now it is your time to make your mark in the business world. All the best to you in all you are doing. Remember the more you help others get what they want and need, the more you get what you want and need.
We would like to hear your comments. How has your research helped you find what your are looking for in a business?

Attraction Marketing, How Can It Help You Part 2
Only that day never comes.
And then you die.
Okay, I'm being a bit dramatic, I know.
But there's a reason for the drama and the psychological torture I'm
inflicting on you right now...
...I don't want you to MISS OUT on YOUR dreams!
I don't want you to die one day, WISHING you had done things differently.
Yes, we get caught up in the day-to-day living.
But there's no reason, and I mean NO reason, why we can't also set aside a small
portion of each day to focus on our BIG dreams.

Attraction Marketing, How Can It Help You
This is an email that we received from Gabor Olah. We liked it so much we wanted to share it with you as well . All the links are in place for you to go to his sites if you want to. Pay close attention to the three questions and answer them the best that you can. It might surprise you what comes of it. He said it so well I did not want to change it.
Gabor Olah
I have three question for you.
If you're like 99.9% of people I know...
... answering these three questions will give you a startling epiphany...
...One that will smack you upside the head harder than an anvil landing on
Willie Coyote.
WARNING: This may finally open your eyes to the TRUTH...
...and sometimes the Truth is NOT what we want to hear.
Are you ready?
Here we go:
Question Number One: If your life could be exactly the way you want it to be,
what would it look like?
Picture in your mind the typical day you would have...
What are you doing?
Where do you live?
What kind of car and toys do you own?
How much time do you spend with your family?
Who are your Friends?
What kinds of places do you go to?
Where do you vacation?
What do you do just for fun?
How soon do you want to retire?
Just imagine I'm a genie, and I've granted you the wish of having your
life exactly the way you want it.
Feel It.
See It.
Hear It, Taste It, Smell It.
Live It.
Take a minute and do this for yourself, you might be surprised by
what you discover...
Question Number Two: Now that you've pictured your life as you WANT it to be,
here's the next question.
How much money will you need to earn each and every month FOR THE REST
OF YOUR LIFE to support this lifestyle.
Be realistic. Things always cost more than you think they will.
Find a number you know can easily and completely give you the life that your want...
And don't move on to question three until you know what that number is.
Got It?
Okay...
Question Number Three: This is the big one.
Are you ready?
Note: I want you to be totally, completely 100% HONEST with yourself on this one.
Here it is...
If you keep doing what you're doing right now, will you EVER meet that monthly
income goal?
In other words, if you keep going just as you are now,
will you
EVER
have the life
that you
TRULY desire?
EVER???
If you're like most folks, the answer is a heart-stopping NO!
Because the fact is, very FEW people will EVER realize the life that they want,
following the path they're on right now.
Reason?
For most people, it's because they're so caught up in the day-to-day mechanics of
"making it through the day," and "making it though the month," that they just
don't have the time or resources to devote to working on the BIG PICTURE of
the life they really want.
When you're caught up in a day-to-day struggle to survive, your dream fall
into the "someday" trap.
That's a little catch-all space you have in the back of your brain ( or maybe in your
heart) where you hide all of your dreams and aspirations for the day you can (FINALLY!!)
start working toward them.

life exactly the way you want it.
Feel It.

4 Steps To You Becoming Great At Closing The Sale
Everything is selling. If you go in for a job interview, then you are selling them on you and how well you can do that job. If you tell someone about a movie that you saw. That is selling-if you liked it or if you did not like it.
If you are selling something on the internet or off the internet (selling cars for example). Then you need to know how to close the sale. This is how you are going to earn your money. If you can not close the deal or the sale, then you do not earn the money.
Get to know these things inside and out. Then you will know how to close the sale. Practice, Practice, Practice with someone else or in front of the mirror. Then YOU become the expert at closing the sale.
1. If you are trying to get people to join the business that you are in for example, say this statement every time you talk to a new person (on the phone or in person.)
* "I see that you are interested in earning money from the comfort of your own home, are you still interested."
They will give you a "yes" or a "no". If it is no move on.
These are some examples of how that statement can be changed for other things that you might sell.
* "I see that you are interested in this car, is that right?
* "I see that you are interested in getting insurance, is that right?
* "I see that you have been to my web site looking for software, are you still interested? What software? (If it was yes.)
It can be changed for the product or service that you are providing.
When they answer the question "Yes" or "No" If it is no go to the next person you are not trying to push them into something they do not want. Others are out their waiting for you to ask the question to that are interested. If it is "yes" then go to step 2.
2. Ask them questions. These are the kinds of things that you need to know.
*Are you married? (If yes and you are on the phone see if they can get on the line as well.) It will get ride of an objection later-I will have to ask my husband or wife. If it is in person, meet with both of them at the same time.
* Do you have children?
* How much money do you want to earn?
* How much time can you spend on the business?
* What kinds of things do you like to do for fun?
* What kinds of things would you do with the extra money that you would earn?
* If I could show you a way to earn an extra $ 1000.00 a month or more would you do it?
3. Show or tell them the presentation. If it is a web site have them go to the web site as you are on the phone with them. Go though the presentation with them, answer any questions they might have. If it is in person go over the presentation with them at that time.
4. Ask if they are ready to get started right now?
If they hesitate, call them on the hesitation. Is it the service or product that makes you hesitate? Is it me or yourself that you are hesitant about? Then answer to that objection. They might have other objection. answer them one at a time. The questions that you asked in # 2 use them now to take down the objections. Some of the objections might be:
* I do not have the money. Your answer would be, Are you going to be better off 6 months from now or worse off by then? If you do not make some changes, will anything change for the better?
* I do not have the time. Your answer would be, You told me that you could spend 10 hours a week on a business, is that right?
* I do not have a credit card. Your answer would be, Get a business credit card, will you not need equipment and things for your business. Can you barrow the money from someone?
* I will have to think about it. Your answer would be, What are you unsure of. Go over some of the things again that you said in the presentation. Talk about the fun things that they would like to do with some extra money.
After the objections ask them again. Are you ready to start right now? Be confident in yourself that you do not hesitate to ask the question. They can say yes or no. If it is no ask why? Answer the objections. If it is still no move on. They might just come back later.

5 Ways To Get More Back Links To Your Blog
Why do you need back links to your blog? Back links help you get higher ratings on the search engines. That helps you to get more targeted traffic to your blog. That also helps you to get more sales if you have your blog monetized ( with things to sell or a link to a web site that has things to sell.) You want people to read what you are writing and buy what you are selling. These are the main reasons that you want as many back links as you can get.
Now how do you get back links?
1. Write good content that people want to read. This way people read what is here and tell others that they found a good blog. This takes a long time to do it this way. It does help. When people follow your work they have it on the blog that they write so that others can see it as well.
2. Write quality articles and submit them to article directories. This helps more, your articles can be picked up and posted in other forum, blog and ezines. They are always looking for new things to put in the publications. They also get directed back to your blog, from the other sources.
3. Participate in forums, discussion boards, that are related to your blog. Write good comments. This get you known in a lot of different places. Make friends with the people in these groups. ( a note do not spam them in these groups. If you are always saying buy my products every time that you say something they are not going to want to come to your blog. They already know what you are selling and do not want it.) Make comments that are relevant to the topic that they are talking about.
4. Find other blogs that are in your niche. Make good comments on their blog add good information to the topic. They might even come to your blog if they like what you have to say. You might even gain a friend. If you like something that they said on their blog, write about it on your blog with a link back to them. Send them an email saying that your blog has a link back to their blog. Do they want to see what you said? They might even do the some for you sometime.
5. Submit your blog to web directories, as many as you can. The more the better. This gets you more targeted traffic and higher on the search engine rankings. Start out with the free directories and when you have more income coming in also do the paid directories. These directories already have the high traffic so the search engines find you sooner than they might otherwise. With the keywords that you use. Make sure that you are using good keywords.
How are your back links? We would like to know the progress that you make. Please leave a comment.

What Is Good Customer Service, How Can It Help To Grow Your Business
Not to long ago we had an experience with a company, that made us upset with them. We wanted to cancel the service, every month they would send out a training cd. We had contacted them several times. A customer service person emailed asking if we wanted to cancel. We sent an email back that we did want to cancel. That was the end of Jan., today we get an email that they shipped the cd. We wrote them another email ( not very HAPPY) told them to cancel it again and get the money back in our account. We unsubscribed from every thing that we got from them with another ( not very HAPPY ) email. So we are not keeping this quiet, we are telling every one if you do not want people talking bad about your business then your customer service had better be in top shape. We will not say the company right now. If it does not get taken care of then we will write again and say the name of the company. You get enough bad things said about you and soon no one wants to do business with you no matter how good the products you have might be. Bad word of mouth travel a lot faster then good word of mouth.
STRIVING FOR EXCELLENCE AT WALMART
Good service only stays that way by evolving. Employee should always be on the lookout for new ideas and innovations that will improve the level of service. A prime example was Sam Walton's "Sundown Rule." If a customer makes a request, it has to be answered by sundown on the day it is received. Store associates were also admonished to follow the " Ten Foot Rule," which meant they were expected to make eye contact, greet and offer assistance to any customer withing 10-feet radius.
WHAT DO CUSTOMERS EXPECT?
1. To be treated with respect.
2. That the company at least acts like they care about them as a customer.
3. When they contact someone with a problem, that they can get something done about the problem.
This is something to ponder...
1. It costs five times as much to attract a new customer as it does to keep your current customer.
2. The average business never hears from 96% of its unhappy customers. (But 90% of them will not visit or buy from that business again!)
3. For every complaint received, the average is 26 customers with problems.
4. Complainers are more likely than non-complainers to do business again with the company that upset them, even if the problem wasn't satisfactorily resolved.
5. Customers who register complaint; between 54-70% will do business with you again if you resolved the complaint. 95% if the problem is resolved quickly.
6. The average customer who has had a problem will tell 1-20 people about it.
7. Customers who complain to an organization and have their complaints resolved tell an average of five people.
WHY CUSTOMERS STOP DOING BUSINESS:
* 1% die
* 3% move away
* 5% develop other friendships
* 9% leave for competitive reasons
* 14% are dissatisfied with the product
* 68% quit because of an ATTITUDE OF INDIFFERENCE toward the customer
(part of this information was given to us by our friend Curtis.)
Do you want your business in the 68% range of customers that stop doing business with you? That will not grow your business much when that 68% tell 1-20 people bad things about your business.
If you are not working hard on good customer service then, that is a lot of people that will not be doing business with you any time soon or never again.
GOOD BUSINESS IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. If no one buys form you, then you do not have a business at all.

Take A Look At This Interviw of Giovanna Garcia
Our friends Hugo and Roxanne did an interview with Giovanna Garcia. This is the link to the interview: http://believeachievesucceed.blogspot.com/ Giovanna has a blog called Imperfect action. Her thought is that the actions that you take do not have to be perfect, you just have to take action. Moving forward even if it is not perfect is the best way to do things or nothing gets done at all. The Perfecting of things happens in the journey. So take the journey. Giovanna is worth knowing more about. Take a look at the interview. It will be worth your time.
